Air Canada now allowing pets in cabin
Starting Wednesday, pets in approved carriers are allowed on both regular Air Canada and regional Jazz flights, provided the container fits under the seat.

Sunday 25th March...
From the Editor:
I've had some great feedback so far for the site, and will be looking for more and more news photos and anything I can find out about what's going on in the Okanagan. If you have anything you want to tell or show the world, about Kelowna, or the surrounding Okanagan, contact us. (Or feel free to leave a comment if there is something you want me to post.)
And today, the sun is out! I'm off hiking with my parents this afternoon and as well as editing this site, I have to make the flask of tea for my Dad!

Cleared for takeoff
A longer runway at Kelowna Airport means non-stop flights from Kelowna to London, England, Frankfurt, Germany, and Sydney, Australia are coming.
“We have Zoom Air ready to fly non-stop from London to Kelowna in January 2009 and then we‘ll probably be able to get weekly non-stops from Frankfurt and Sydney sometime after that,” said Michael Ballingall, vice-president of Big White Ski Resort near Kelowna and Silver Star Ski Resort near Vernon.
